Port of Gdynia (www.port.gdynia.pl) – ice and tide free, all year round, multipurpose port with terminals dedicated for container, ro-ro, general cargo and bulk cargoes.

Baltic General Cargo Terminal Ltd offers transhipment, stowing, warehousing and value added services to all kinds of conventional general cargoes in seaborn trade as well as ro-ro cargoes.

Part of the terminal dedicated to Ro-Ro transhipments spreads along the Basin V of the Gdynia Port. Initiated on the 1st August 2001, it consists of the three modern ramps, newly built or refurbished warehouses, sheds, and strengthened open storage areas.

Area surrounding the Basin IV of the Gdyna Port is dedicated for conventional general cargoes, such as: steel products, bagged cargoes (i.e. rice, sugar, milk powder, cocoa and coffee, fertilizers etc.), as well as granite blocks, heavy and over measurement cargoes, and containers.
Part of the warehouses at the Francuskie berth is dedicated to serve and store perishable goods, like bananas and exotic fruits.

BTDG is open 24/7, gates and terminal work in three shifts.

Methods of payment accepted: invoice with prolonged time of payment or cash only. No credit cards.

Booking deadline: 14:00 on the day of vessels evening arrival (23:00).

Cargo readiness:

  • lorries and trailers: two hours before vessels arrival
  • containers: 12 hours before vessels arrival
  • break bulk: 12 hours before vessels arrival
  • IMO goods – no restrictions – surcharges apply.

Other

BTDG is located close to the city centre linked with a two lane road to the city Ring. The Ring is connected to highway No 1 to Lodz and PL-CZ boarder and express roads no 6 to Szczecin and PL-D boarder as well as with express road no 7 to Warsaw.
